Getting started
I only hire a few times a year. Is it for me?
Yes. You cancel monthly, or pause for €19 per month. Your careers site then stays online with an open application, and your data is kept. Starting again is one click.
When do I pay?
Only when you publish. You sign up without payment details and right away see your own careers site and first vacancy. Nothing goes online before you pay.
How long does setup take?
Your account is ready in two minutes and Folven builds your careers site from your website. You put a vacancy online in five minutes, or paste an old text.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Folven works in your phone's browser and you can add it to your home screen as an app. Replying, scheduling and rejecting fit in between two shifts.
Is Folven only for hospitality?
No. Folven is for businesses without an HR department, with 5 to 50 people: hospitality, retail, care, construction and logistics. Your industry decides which rules Folven keeps an eye on for you, such as 18+ for shifts after 23:00.
Is Folven available in English?
Not yet. Folven itself is in Dutch for now. This page is translated so you can see what Folven does.
Candidates and AI
What does a candidate notice?
Applying takes a minute, without an account. The candidate gets a confirmation right away and their own link to confirm or move an appointment. And everyone hears back, even when it's a no.
How does Folven decide who fits?
Folven holds answers and CV against the requirements you approved. For each requirement you see whether it matches, with the source, and the best match is at the top. No percentages, and Folven never rejects on its own. You decide.
Does Folven reject candidates on its own?
No. Folven never rejects, moves anyone or sends anything without you. When you reject someone, the message goes out by default the next working day at 12:00. Until then you can undo it.
Channels and privacy
Will my vacancy appear on Indeed?
Your careers site is live right away. Google for Jobs and Indeed pick up your vacancy at their own pace, usually within a few days. We are working on the official Indeed integration. For each channel, Folven shows whether your vacancy is really live.
Where is my data, and does Folven train on it?
Hosting is in the Netherlands. For the AI check, text without name, email address and phone number goes to Anthropic, which may also process it outside the EU. Candidate data is not used to train AI models. Every application has a retention period, after which Folven deletes everything.
